Dr. Dahlkemper
Dr. Nicole Dahlkemper graduated with honors from Allegheny College with her Bachelors of Science in Biological Neuroscience and Psychology. Graduating in the top of her class, she earned her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentisty (DMD) from Case Western Reserve University School in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Dahlkemper loves her community and enjoys spending time with her husband Toby, sons TJ & Xander, and their 3 dogs.
Dr. Dahlkemper is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and American Academy of Sleep Medicine. She has hundreds of hours of continuing education and is up to date on the latest advancements in TMJ and Sleep Therapy treatments.
Dr. Dahlkemper values each patient that walks through the door and enjoys helping her patients improve and maintain their health through dental sleep medicine. She’s committed to using her knowledge in sleep medicine to help provide Charleston’s residents with a better nights rest.

Nightlase Treatment- My wife could notice a difference after one treatment. After all 3 treatments, the pressure on my CPAP has gone down and my blood pressure has even gotten better. Prior to receiving treatment with Dr. Dahlkemper for my sleep apnea I was told I had only two options: surgery or wearing a CPAP device. In hopes of better finding an alternative, I turned to Dr. Nicole. She not only gave me an alternative, she has improved my overall health through a better night’s sleep without a long and painful recovery or needing some loud ghastly device that kept my partner awake at night.
Dr. Nicole fitted me with a device that at first you’d look at and think how in the world will this prevent snoring, but it not only worked, it was comfortable, prevented me from grinding my teeth, and serves as a retainer for my post Invisalign treatment provided by Dr. Nicole.
Additionally, Dr. Nicole introduced me to a wonderful procedure called Nightlase, that no other dentist around had begun using for sleep apnea. Together the sleep appliance and the Nightlase treatments has allowed me to sleep even better, to the point that I no longer feel the morning blues and feel invigorated to start my day. Nightlase was utterly amazing, it took three monthly treatments and annual touch-ups with no downtime or recovery. I owe my health and energy to Dr. Nicole and cannot stop telling everyone I know to come see the BEST dentist in the Charleston/Mt. Pleasant area.
