Since 1990, Family Connection has been serving families of children with disabilities and chronic health conditions. We have served more than 100,000 families and today the need is greater than ever.
Family Connection offers assistance with medicaid and healthcare applications, guidance with preparing for and attending school meetings such as IEP, and 504 plans, and parent-to-parent support. We also offer trainings, materials, and resources for parents and professionals who serve families who have a child with a disability or chronic health conditions. All services are offered without a waiting list and at no cost to parents.
As the Parent Training and Information Center for South Carolina, our staff are highly trained professionals who are parents themselves, and will provide information, support, education and referrals to meet the individualized needs of the family. Our staff is ready to help parents navigate the stages of their child’s journey and help them chart a true course for success.
