Sleep Better South Carolina has been serving the area for over four years, now. We are helping numerous patients by enhancing their sleep and treating their sleep apnea with oral appliances.
Dr. Blalock grew up in Independence, Missouri. She graduated from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She went on to the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and fulfilled her childhood ambition of becoming a dentist. Dr. Blalock graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After passing her dental boards, she was sworn in as a dental officer in the United States Navy. After eight successful years, she resigned from her Naval commission and began a private dental practice. Since that time, she has furthered her dental education. Dr. Blalock has completed more than 100 hours of continuing education a year, in the field of sleep medicine. In addition to being a member of the American Dental Association and the SC Dental Association, Dr. Blalock is also a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, a Diplomate to the Board of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy, and the International Academy of Sleep and Dental Sleep Masters. She is offering this very important service to her patients with snoring and sleep apnea problems and is the founder and owner of Sleep Better South Carolina.
Dr. Blalock is married to a Charleston native and has a 22- year old son, and 2 Australian Labradoodles.
