Our state-of-the-art facilities allow us to diagnose and treat a variety of vascular diseases as well as varicose veins. Our Providers



Adam J. Keefer, MD, was born and raised in Rochester, New York. Dr. Keefer attended Pennsylvania State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He went to Medical School at the University of Rochester Medical School in New York. Dr. Keefer completed his General Surgery Residency and Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical School as well. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery and is certified to read diagnostic vascular studies by the National Organization of Diagnostic Ultrasound (ARDMS).
Board-certified in Vascular Surgery, Dr. Hislop came to us from the United States Air Force where he achieved the rank of Major. He served as Chief of Vascular Surgery, Craig Joint Theater Hospital, Bagram Afghanistan. He also served as the Attending Vascular Surgeon, San Antonio Military Medical Center Assistant Professor of Surgery, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences Director, Noninvasive Vascular Lab, San Antonio Military Medical Center Chief, Endovascular Surgery. After completing dual degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Virginia Tech University, Dr. Hislop received his MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine where he also completed his Surgical Residency and Vascular Surgery Fellowship.
Dr. Kristian Hochberg, MD is originally from Carroll County Maryland, west of Baltimore. He attended the University of Maryland for his undergraduate studies. He later completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of Rochester in 2007. He subsequently completed his fellowship in Vascular Surgery through the University of Maryland in 2009. He is board certified in Vascular Surgery. He is an avid golfer and enjoys trying new foods.



Dr. English is thrilled and honored to join the Coastal Vascular and Vein Center, and he looks forward providing comprehensive vascular care to the Charleston community and the region at large. Dr. English has extensive experience with state-of-the-art endovascular techniques, as we well as traditional, open surgical repair. Like his partners, Dr. English prides himself on taking a patient-specific approach, and his goal, in every case, is to provide the best possible result and outcome, with as minimally invasive an approach as possible.
Prior to joining Coastal Vascular and Vein, Dr. Fortuna served as an Associate Professor of Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, contributing significantly to the sections of Vascular and Acute/Critical Care Surgery. His dedication to education extends internationally as an instructor at Vascular International in Germany and as a course director for the American College of Surgeons’ Basic Endovascular Skills for Trauma (BEST) Course. He most recently was the Director of Vascular Surgery at Lexington Medical Center in Columbia, SC.




Mark Chargualaf, PA-C is a licensed and board-certified physician assistant originally from Knoxville, Tennessee. There, he attended the University of Tennessee and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry in May 2020. Mark then earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina in August 2022. During his training, he developed an interest in surgical subspecialties, including vascular surgery. Outside of clinical practice, he enjoys exploring the Lowcountry and cheering on the sports teams of the Tennessee Volunteers.
Jesse Greenwood, PA-C earned her bachelor’s in kinesiology from the University of Georgia in 2016 followed by a master’s in medical science at Arcadia University in 2020. She became a board-certified Physician Assistant in 2020 and has been practicing in the Charleston area since that time.
Through her undergraduate studies, she implemented exercise programs for patients with disabilities, and volunteered in Peru and the Athens, GA community. As a PA student, she served as Vice President of the Student Association of the AAPA. Jesse is currently a member of the American Association of PAs and the South Carolina Association of PAs. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, and photography.
Holly Petrusson Herr is a licensed and board-certified physician assistant from Los Angeles, California. She received a bachelor’s degree in Movement Science from the University of Michigan while competing for their Track & Field and Cross Country teams. She graduated from Charleston Southern University’s Physician Assistant Program in 2023. In her free time, Holly enjoys being active, traveling, exploring Charleston, and spending time with family and friends.
Victoria Peck is a board-certified Physician Assistant at Coastal Vascular and Vein Center. She hails from Columbia, SC. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Public Health Studies from the University of South Carolina-Columbia, followed by her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina, and her Doctor of Medical Science degree from Butler University.
