What routines and habits help you prepare for, or recover from, a day’s challenges?
My favorite routine to prepare myself for the day is my morning coffee. It is the time of day where it is just me – my “me” time. It drives me to get up early to begin each day slowly, with intention and with no distractions. It allows me to connect my body and mind to help focus and establish my priorities for the day ahead.
What or who inspires you?
My employees inspire me. Their dedication and hard work each day drives me to be a better leader and person every day. Without them, I would not be where I am today nor be able to help all the people that our business helps daily. They make a difference in each interaction they have.
Describe the person and provider you strive to be.
I strive to be there for others and take care of people day in and day out. My number one goal my entire life has been to help others, whether it be mentally through conversation – something as simple as offering words of kindness – or physically through our stretches. I believe helping others is my purpose in life.
What advice do you wish you could give to your younger self?
I would tell myself to stop caring about what other people think and to be more confident in myself. I used to have imposter syndrome a lot in my position, which held me back from certain goals I was trying to achieve. Now I tell myself that if I have an idea, share it with confidence.
