Director of operations
iTrust Wellness

How would you describe your journey to becoming the health leader you are today?

My journey to leadership has been anything but traditional. iTrust Wellness was my first job out of college just three years ago. I started as the administrative assistant to our former CEO, and within months I was managing projects for our senior living division, which soon evolved into a full operational management role. After leading that division for over a year, I began supporting the broader outpatient operations of the practice, where I continue to focus today.

Describe the moment or time of life you decided to have a career in medicine.

I grew up in a family with a deep bench of folks who worked in health care. For years, I thought I would follow a similar path, but, as I moved through college, I realized my strengths leaned more toward business and systems rather than science and direct patient care. When I joined iTrust, it quickly became clear that health care operations was the perfect blend of everything I love – strategy, problem-solving and purpose-driven impact. It allows me to play a vital role in shaping systems that help patients receive the best care possible.
